What is a good electric body shaver? What is good electric body shaver for a guy or a girl? elmo replied: "get an epilator it plucks rather than shaves hurts first few times but hair doesnt grow back for ages" Is the Bodworx Body Shaver worth the money? Sean F replied: "I am guessing you are male from your use of a manly body hair shaver. Sadly as a hairy man myself I know from experience, I used to trim my body hair all the time when younger that itchiness does not go away, waxing is slightly better but hurts like you would not believe especially around the nipples. I trim my armpit hair even now, and unless, unlike me you are going very short, and it doesn't itch or prickle, in fact the hair growing through is softer and less prickly than the hair it replaces. Try using a really good body moisturiser or moisturising oil such as the one made by King of Shaves."

cerise122 replied: "The itchyness could be due to razor burn. If you are shaving it down to the skin, I recommend using a disposable razor and shaving cream, making sure the skin is moist (maybe when you are in the shower), instead of your electric razor. Or waxing.
If you don't want to get rid of all the hair and are just trimming it, try leaving it a little longer than you usually do. You may have to trim more often, but the hair may not be so prickly."
me e replied: "you should try switching to an epilator - hurts when you first start using it as it's plucking out all those hairs at once but then your skin gets used to it and you barely feel it. this is what i use and i love it! never does it give you prickly hairs and when they do grow back it's not a carpet of fuzz it's just thin soft hairs here and there."
mrslow replied: "I get this problem - when you shave, it puts a very fine point to the hair, when the hair eventually grows back, they hair will then be stubble, but under you arm pits. The reason your stubble on your face isn't prickly is because there is nothing rubbing against it so it has nothing to irritate.
What i suggest is, to buy a hair moisturiser, this will soften the hair OR use hair removal cream which will not cause the hair to be sharp."

for a smoother result, try waxing or depilatory cream"
pixiebell replied: "Shaving causes this as your just slicing off the top bit of hair, but your not pulling it out from the root, so it makes the tip of the hair blunt as your cutting it jagged. To stop the itchiness, the hair needs to be pulled out from its root by waxing."

Well since i am a mother well ....
I shave my legs ifconsideringg back then waxing with a professional so they do not grow ununevenlyy back ..
But waxing takes a couple of moths for it to grow back for me ..."
